Cancun, Q.R. — An early morning two vehicle crash left nearly a dozen with non-life threatening injuries. Cancun firemen were called to the accident scene on Colosio Boulevard shortly after 5:00 a.m. Monday.
Two men inside the cab of a company food truck were reported injured, one of which required the use of the jaws of life to be freed. At least nine people from the second vehicle, a bus, were treated at the scene before being transferred to various city hospitals.
Cancun Transit Police began their investigation into the crash after the 45-year-old driver of the company food truck, Juan José “N”, hit the driver’s side of the bus driven by 57-year-old Alfredo “N”.
Monday morning traffic was heavily effected by the accident that left a major intersection clogged with two damaged vehicles, leaking fluids and scattered debris.
