Cancun bus passenger stabs driver for not letting him off in middle of street

Cancun, Q.R. — A 72 year old man was jailed in Cancun Saturday after he allegedly stabbed a city bus driver. The jailed man was arrested after the driver of the public unit reported being stabbed by a passenger.

The incident happened in SM 516 of Cancun when Maximiliano “N” told the bus driver to let him off in the middle of the street. For safety reasons, the bus driver denied the request, which is when the man is alleged to have stabbed him.

The city bus driver was injured in his hand and abdomen. Quintana Roo Police were quick to locate and pick up the bus passenger. Charges are pending.
