Cancun, Q.R. — A company bus driver was shot to death inside his Cancun home Friday night. According to available information, it was around 9:30 p.m. when at least two men stormed his apartment and opened fire.
The now-deceased was reportedly talking with his wife on the phone at the time of the shooting. She called police.
City officers were sent to an address in the Paseos del Mar subdivision of Cancun where they found the man inside his apartment. Paramedics confirmed the death of the victim, Luis Alberto “N”.
Witness residents along Galaxias del Sol Street told police two armed people fled the apartment on a motorcycle after the shooting. Area residents also called emergency services after hearing gunfire. Arrests have not been announced.
