Cancun, Q.R. — A two-vehicular accident under the airport bridge in Cancun left one injured and a long line of traffic Wednesday. Preliminary reports say the driver of an egg truck lost control and crossed the center median, invading lanes in the opposite direction where he collided with a compact car.
Police and paramedics rushed to the site of the 7:00 a.m. accident from where medical personnel transferred four to hospital. Municipal police were left with the task of waiting for tow units to arrive to remove the two damaged vehicles.
Traffic heading south was affected for more than two hours.
