Cancun, Q.R. — A Canadian tourist has died after suffering a heart attack while snorkeling outside their Cancun hotel.
The accident was reported Wednesday along the beach in front of the Hacienda del Mar hotel in Puerto Juarez of Cancun.
Personnel from the Red Cross of Cancun were called along with municipal police.
For privacy purposes, authorities have not released any information about the person other than they were of advanced age and of Canadian nationality.
