Cancun, Q.R. — A man who is a suspect in the murder of a Cancun woman has been taken into custody. On Sunday, the FGE of Quintana Roo reported on the arrest of Ramón “C”.
According to the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE), he “was arrested for his probable participation in the crime of femicide to the detriment of a victim of reserved identity.”
The agency detailed that on February 18 of this year, the body of a woman was found dead in an apartment in SM 96. The body was found by a friend who went to visit her.
The defendant, Ramón “C”, was her boyfriend at the time of her death. The woman’s body was found in her Cancun apartment with “various injuries”, the FGE said.
