Cancun, Q.R. — Cancun firemen were on Tulum Avenue Sunday in response to a vehicle rollover. Three vehicles were involved in a collision that left one car on its roof.
Of the three involved, only one sustained extensive damage after clipping a city median and rolling.
Cancun firemen, who released a briefing regarding the inner city accident, reported only material damage and no injuries in the Sunday afternoon mishap that left two lanes shut.
According to Bomberos Cancun “we responded to a report of a vehicle accident on Tulum Avenue near the highway interchange. There were no injuries, only material damage to the cars involved.”
Authorities did not say how the three vehicles collided or exactly how one of the cars ended up on its roof. Both lanes were closed for nearly an hour while the mess was cleaned and the rolled car removed.
