Cancun, Q.R. — The body of a Colombian man allegedly involved in loansharking was found Monday in a Cancun suburb. The dead body of the unnamed man was found after nearby residents reported gunfire around 10:00 a.m.
Cancun police located the dead man laying face up on a dirt road in SM 531. Preliminary information suggests he was shot by others on a motorcycle who were successful in fleeing the area before authorities arrived.
The motorcycle of the dead man was found nearby with the key in the ignition. Personnel from the forensic medical unit collected evidence before the body was removed from the scene.
