Cancun, Q.R. — Glass beer bottles littered the scene of a fatal single vehicle accident in Cancun Wednesday night. Cancun Transit arrived to find a dead motorcycle driver after spilling his bike and skidding.
The accident was reported in SM 103 when the driver lost control of his motorcycle. Witnesses who saw the crash claimed the driver was traveling at excessive speed and appeared to be intoxicated.
Police arrived to a scene outlined by glass beer bottles. The site of the fatal crash was cordoned off while Transit officers carried out the corresponding procedures. The motorcycle driver, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
