Cancun, Q.R. — A family was left without a home Wednesday when a room was left blackened after catching fire. The fire happened in the Villas Otoch Paraíso subdivision, leaving the home in uninhabitable conditions but without any injuries.
The fire was reported to 9-1-1 Wednesday at an address in Region 259 of Cancun. Firefighters, paramedics and other emergency responders found the front door opened. They also found signs of an unsuccessful attempt by those inside to put the fire out themselves.
