Cancun, Q.R. — A police chase through Cancun streets ended with the arrest of man and the seizure of his marijuana. Cancun authorities have identified Levi Alberto “N,” alias “Morelos,” as a drug trafficker.

According to the SSC (Secretary of Citizen Security), Levi Alberto “N” was arrested as a suspect in a drug trafficking case Thursday. He was taken into custody after fleeing in his car when instructed to pull over.
Police from the Investigation Group of the SSC said they “observed a black Cupra vehicle overtaking the police unit on the right.
“As the vehicle passed the officers, they noticed transparent packages containing a green, dried herb resembling marijuana protruding from the rear of the vehicle.
“When ordered to stop, the driver ignored the commands and attempted to flee. He was intercepted on Chac Mool Avenue, near the Residencial Tercera Etapa subdivision in Cancun.
“Thanks to the prompt intervention, the road was blocked, preventing the man from fleeing. He was then informed of the violation and a preventive search was conducted.”
Arresting officers reported seizing his marijuana, cell phones and car. Levi Alberto “N” is facing drug trafficking charges.
