Cancun, Q.R. — A two car collision in Cancun left one overturned against a light pole. The 9:00 a.m. accident on Nichupté Avenue had rush hour traffic backed up outside Plaza Las Americas.
Preliminary reports say one of the drivers attempted a u-turn, using the oncoming lane to do so. In making the turn, the second car happened by. The impact left one on its side against a city light pole. Injuries were not reported from either vehicle.
Traffic police were sent to the scene to sort out the crash. Both vehicles were towed to the corralón.
