Cancun, Q.R. — Five individuals were arrested on Thursday after being reported for threats against a person. A business owner in the Cancun Hotel Zone told police that a group of five armed men had entered his establishment at kilometer 8.5 and threatened him with kidnapping.
Using the city’s C5 security cameras, Quintana Roo police were successful in locating the vehicle as described by the man. The vehicle was stopped at Kilometer 25 where it was inspected. Inside, police located all five men, two of whom, were found carrying firearms.
Quintana Roo Police report the detainment of Roberto N, Jaime N, Gerardo N, Edwin N and Carlos N.
