Another Cancun beach clean sees the removal of illegally set up vendors

Cancun, Q. R. — Institutions and agencies carried out a cleaning operation at Playa del Niño earlier this week. According to the General Secretary of the City Council, Jorge Carlos Aguilar Osorio, the operation was done by the Regional Coordination for the Construction of Peace and Security of Benito Juárez to ensure permanent attention to beaches.

Aguilar Osorio stressed that these activities are carried out permanently at the instruction of the Mayor, Ana Patricia Peralta and the State Governor, Mara Lezama, so that the public beaches of Cancun remain in optimal condition for everyone.

The municipal official commented that talks have already been held with those who were illegally occupying spaces on the beach. Those found set up with permits were dismantled and their items seized.

He also said that non-operational boats that were found obstructing beach passage were hauled away.
