Another bagged body located off Tulum highway

Tulum, Q.R. — Another bagged body has been reported found along a section of Tulum highway. The body was located shortly after 3:30 p.m. by CFE personnel who were working in the area.

Personnel from the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) reportedly found the body Thursday afternoon along the Tulum-Chemuyil highway. Police arrived to verify the finding.

The body was verified bound (tied at the feet) and left on the side of the highway in a black garbage bag. Police have not provided public details on the finding.

Earlier this week, police reported on the arrest of a Most Wanted believed involved in several Tulum murders. Police reported that Samuel Esteban “N”, alias “El Max” and/or “El Troyano”, who was a priority target of the Crime Atlas of Quintana Roo, was picked up during a group arrest last week.

Samuel Esteban “N” is accused of being one of the participants in the murder of two men who were taken from a home in the Aldea Tulum subdivision on January 20 of this year. Their bodies were later found abandoned a dismembered inside black bags on the Tulum-Carillo Puerto highway.
