Cancun, Q.R. — The body of a bound man was reported to Cancun authorities early Sunday morning. An anonymous call was made regarding the finding a man laying in a green area around 8:30 a.m.
Police located the deceased adult along an old dirt road on 18th Street in SM 227 of Cancun. His hands were bound. He had one gunshot wound to the head.
Police estimated him to be between the ages of 30 and 40. His identity remains unknown since identification was not found on the body. Area residents were also unable to identify the man.
Municipal police officers from the homicide unit and army personnel arrived to begin an investigation.
