Cancun, Q.R. — The Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals (AMPI) of Cancun has announced a new president. On Monday, long standing AMPI Cancun president Miguel Ángel Lemus Mateos stepped down to run for a regional position.
Mateos gave his resignation Monday after heading the Cancun chapter for nearly three years. He made the move to run for Regional Coordination 17, which includes the states of Yucatán and Quintana Roo.
In his place is interim president, Jorge Eduardo Nolasco Martínez, who appointed Édgar Karim Domínguez Lima as executive vice president to conclude the 2022 period.
