Cancun, Q.R. — An American youth who was reported as kidnapped had apparently passed out while partying with a group of spring breakers. The 911 report of the kidnapping was made Thursday by the missing man’s travel partner.
The young 20-something-year-old man told police that he and his friend were out drinking the night before and that his friend did not come home. Despite failed attempts to contact him, he believed that his friend had been kidnapped so he called 911.
Police went to the Cancun Hotel Zone where they interviewed the concerned travel mate. Shortly afterward, the missing man appeared. The American youth, 21-year-old Chasson F, explained that he met a woman and spent the night at her centrally located hotel where he passed out.
