ADO has its eye on a Tulum bus station revamp

Tulum, Q.R. — Mobility ADO has big plans to modernize the Tulum bus terminal. A significant investment is planned for the busy terminal which is expected to be finished sometime next year.

Lourdes Jiménez, the Commercial Manager for Riviera Maya at Mobility ADO, says the transportation company continues to invest in the growth of Quintana Roo, highlighting the importance of an investment in a tourist destination with a high influx of visitors.

Jiménez stressed that in Tulum, although a project start date has not yet been defined, the need for a larger terminal to meet the growing influx of tourists is evident. The modernization of the Tulum bus terminal will be a key step to continue improving the infrastructure and quality of services in the region, consolidating ADO as a key player in the development of tourism in Riviera Maya, she explained.

She commented that ADO has recently opened a new terminal in Bacalar with modern facilities including ticket offices, waiting rooms and bus platforms in response to the increased demand in that area.

She says ADO has made progress in digitizing its services, allowing passengers to purchase tickets online through its website or app, eliminating the need to print tickets.
