Cancun, Q.R. — Seven combi passengers were hurt after the van they were in overturned. The accident was reported Saturday morning in a Route 6 van in SM 510 when it was sideswiped by a private vehicle.
Area witnesses told police that the passenger van was traveling along 50th Avenue when a private truck hit it, pushing it over. The urvan, belonging to the State Terrestrial Transport company (TTE), was hit by Leslie M, the driver of the truck who, witnesses said, failed to respect the right-of-way.
Six passengers and the driver were injured in the 10:30 a.m. accident. An ambulance was on scene to access those hurt. Four people, two adults and two minors, were transferred to the IMSS hospital.
