56-year-old woman killed in single vehicle car crash

Cancun, Q.R. — A 56-year-old woman died Wednesday afternoon after slamming her compact car into concrete a pole. The accident was reported on Palenque Avenue in Supermanzana 21.

The victim was driving a Nissan Tiida, which apparently spun out of control as she was driving, causing her to crash into a concrete Federal Electricity Commission pole.

By the force of the impact, the car’s engine was pushed back into the cab and the female driver hit in the abdomen, causing her death.

Police and medical personnel went to the scene. Paramedics confirmed the death of 56-year-old Anabel N.
