Tulum, Q.R. — A Yucatan native was shot and killed in his front door late Monday by gunmen who managed to escape. According to neighbors, three men aboard a gray van arrived at the man’s house.
The men reportedly approached the house. In response, the now-deceased tried to prevent the men from entering. Instead, they shot him through the glass of his front door then fled.
Shot dead was 52-year-old Eliodoro “P” from the state of Yucatan. He was hit at least once in the head.
Tulum police responded to neighbor reports of the 10:00 p.m. shooting on Naab Street only to find the man dead. Shell casings were collected from the scene.
