Tulum, Q.R. — Federal authorities have announced their investigation into the death of a woman who was found at a Tulum construction side earlier this week. The Quintana Roo State Attorney General’s Office says they have investigated the events that occurred at a Tulum construction site where a deceased female person was located.
They report that a worker from the site, who was making tours in the vicinity, found the lifeless female, for which he requested the presence of authorities. The woman was found on her stomach, slumped over construction material and wearing pajamas.
According to testimonies, the now-deceased hurriedly left the place where she was staying. Friends began a search for the woman, but were not able to locate her, so they reported her missing to police.
According to the autopsy, the injuries found on the victim correspond with those sustained by a fall, which has been ruled the cause of death. Her body has been delivered to relatives.
