Woman arrested after Tulum tourist tells police she was offered drugs

Tulum, Q.R. — A woman who allegedly offered a tourist drugs on a Tulum street has been arrested by police. The Quintana Roo Police took the woman into custody on drug-related charges after she was denounced by a tourist.

The unidentified tourist told police that on her way to her hotel, a female approached and offered her the drugs that she was selling. Police began a search operation, locating the woman around 9:00 p.m. in the Guerra de Castas neighborhood and informing her of the reason for their intervention.

An inspection of the woman identified as Rosa N, lead police to find several types of drugs in street doses. The drugs found included marijuana, cocaine, crack and crystal.
