Tulum, Q.R. — Ministerial Police executed arrest warrants for Rafael M and César A for the crime of illegal deprivation of liberty to the detriment of a victim of reserved identity.
According to their investigations, in March, both men removed their victim from the bar Las Mil y una Noches and forced him into a rental vehicle where he sustained multiple injuries.
During their follow-up, police established that one of them also participated in the murder of Marco Tulio S.M., the Tulum Comisión de Agua Potable y Alcantarillado (CAPA) union leader last year.
Policías Ministeriales report that Rafael M was apprehended on avenida Tulum in the city of Tulum, while César A was arrested on avenida Zapote in residential Colonia Villamar in Playa del Carmen.
Both were made available to a judge to face their legal process.
