Two teens arrested in Tulum after reports of gunfire

Tulum, Q.R. — Two teenagers have been arrested in Tulum after neighbors reported hearing gunfire in the middle of the night.

Municipal police responded to the gunfire report that came in around 3:30 a.m by residents on Oko’ol Street. Witnesses say they saw one man with a gun at his waist flee a car wash via a motorcycle driven by someone else.

Police were able to locate the motorcycle and its two passengers identified as 18-year-old Michael N and 19-year-old Daniel N. Both were arrested. Police found one firearm. The two teens were held for the Attorney General.
