Tulum, Q.R. — Two people were shot to death on a public street in Tulum Thursday night. The shooting happened around 9:15 p.m. in the city’s Mayapax neighborhood. Police responded to neighbor reports of gunfire near the intersection of Orión Norte Street and Dos Oriente.
There, Tulum officers located two deceased males. One was located face down on a sidewalk, while the second was found laying face down at the intersection meters ahead. The shooter(s) fled without being caught.
There have been reports that the shootings were drug related, however, Tulum police have neither confirmed or denied these reports.
