Tulum, Q.R. — Two people, alleged to be of American nationality, have been found dead inside a Tulum apartment. Sources from the Prosecutor’s Office reported that a man and woman were found Friday afternoon inside a condominium unit.
Police went to the residential condo complex in search of the pair after family members reported not hearing from them for several days. The pair were found deceased inside Condominios Palacio along 12th Street in the Veleta residential area of Tulum.
Police say the pair are alleged to have died from a drug overdose after drugs were found inside their unit. An official statement regarding the finding has not been given.
