Tulum, Q.R. — Two people were injured Sunday morning after suffering a collision along the federal Tulum-Playa del Carmen highway.
Tulum firefighters, along with paramedics, arrived on scene to provide medical care to the injured. The taxi driver involved in the accident, 42-year-old Vincent C, was transferred to Tulum Hospital.
The second driver, Daniela P.R. was also injured and transferred to a private clinic. The accident happened near Cenote Rock Klim and was called into Emergency 911 by highway travelers. Authorities have yet to release information on how the accident happened.
