Tulum, Q.R. — A multi-vehicle accident in Tulum left at least two people seriously injured. The Thursday night accident involved a motorcycle, bicycle and two cars.
Police were sent to the 10:00 p.m. accident intersection scene where they began the task of sorting out the situation. A total of three people were sent to hospital, two of whom, were reported to be in serious condition.
According to witnesses, the driver of a car involved blew a stop sign and collided with a second car that hit a motorcycle carrying two people. That motorcycle was projected into a person passing by on a bicycle.
Two ambulances, along with Civil Protection personnel, arrived at the scene to attend to the victims. The two seriously injured were the couple on the motorcycle. They were transferred to hospital by ambulance. There is no word on their condition.
