Tulum, Q.R. — A two-vehicle crash that involved a private car and a industrial work vehicle has left at least two people dead. The accident happened Thursday night on the Tulum-Playa del Carmen of highway.
Emergency rescue crews arrived at the scene of the accident where they found the private car had collided with a large industrial work truck. A man from the private car was being transferred to a Playa del Carmen hospital but died in the ambulance along the way.
A 30-year-old woman was taken to hospital, but pronounced at 1:30 a.m. Friday. A third person was also taken to hospital in serious condition. Their status remains unknown.
Details of the accident, including a possible cause for the nighttime crash, has not been provided.
