Tulum, Q.R. — A young man in his 20s was killed Friday night in a motorcycle accident in the town of Tulum. Witnesses called for an ambulance around 8:30 p.m. after seeing the male driver land headlong into a city utility pole.
The accident was reported in the Aldea Tulum residential area. Civil Protection were part of the responding team after paramedics found the youth dead on the street.
The youth was speeding on his motorcycle when, according to eye witnesses, he lost control. According to Civil Protection personnel, he was thrown several meters off his bike and hit the base of a metal utility pole head first.
