Tulum, Q.R. — Tulum is participating in the OTM Mumbai 2024 with a Riviera Maya information kiosk. The municipality is promoting its destination to Indian travelers during the Outbound Travel Mart (OTM) tourism fair in Mumbai.
Tulum’s Directorate of Tourism met with Indian media as well as the directors of Turkish Airlines, who are also participating in the Asia-based tourist fair.
Tulum is there with the Quintana Roo Tourism Promotion Council (CPTQ) from February 8 to 10. OTM is the main travel fair in India and Asia Pacific which is being held at the majestic Jio World Convention Center to more than 1,250 exhibitors from more than 50 countries.
Mayor Diego Castañón Trejo wanted to participate to position Tulum as the best Hindu wedding tourist destination.
Companies and professionals from the travel and tourism industry including tour operators, wedding organizers, film producers, representatives of travel agencies, airlines, hotels, as well as national and state tourism organizations, participated in the 2024 Fair.
Tulum’s participation was also an opportunity to attract new investments that contribute to diversifying the economy of Tulum and Quintana Roo in the information technology, automotive, electromobility, aerospace and biotechnology sectors, where infrastructures such as the Maya Train and the Tulum Airport will play a key role.
