Tulum, Q.R. — A man believed responsible for a recent violent robbery in Tulum has been taken into custody. On Monday, the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE), reported the arrest of Daniel “C” “for his probable participation in the crime of robbery with violence, with the balance of a person injured by a firearm.”
According to the FGE, the armed robbery happened on October 22 along Okoot Street in the town of Tulum. One person was injured by gunfire during the robbery. Police used security cameras to locate the now-detained.
“Immediately, and with the support of the C-5 technology, the location of the alleged perpetrator was achieved, who at the time of his arrest, had a stab wound; 16 bags of dry herb with characteristics similar to marijuana, cash and a 9 mm caliber firearm with empty magazine were seized from him,” the agency reported.
