Tulum police arrest Veracruz man found with cocaine, cash

Tulum, Q.R. — Elements of the Quintana Roo Tulum Police arrested a man after he was located with 200 street doses of cocaine. The arrest was made Thursday after officers pulled him over for a routine security check.

The man, identified as Jesús N from the state of Veracruz, was traveling on a motorcycle on Cobá Avenue when he was stopped. During their review, police located 200 street doses of powdered cocaine along with US and Mexico peso cash.

The 25-year-old was transferred to the State Attorney General’s Office on drug-related charges.
