Tulum painter hospitalized with burns to 40 percent of his body after making contact with low lying electric lines

Tulum, Q.R. — A worker painting the outside of a Tulum hotel suffered burns to 40 percent of his body after making contact with CFE lines. Medical responders were sent to the scene at the Tulum hotel around 9:00 a.m.

According to information obtained, Ruben “N” was painting the outside of the hotel when his pole and wet roller made contact with low lying electric lines. Paramedics rushed him to hospital with burns to nearly 40 percent of his body. His health status is unknown.
