Tulum operations lead to the arrest of alleged cocaine dealers one with an outstanding warrant for murder

Tulum, Q.R. — Authorities in Tulum have confirmed the arrests of three men that may be related to area murders. According to Municipal Police, two of the men detained were arrested from a vehicle.

The pair were traveling the Tulum-Playa del Carmen section of highway when they were stopped in their State of Mexico plated car and inspected. Jonathan A and Walter A were reported as being arrested after police found 202 bags of cocaine and four weapons in their car.

A third man, Jesus P, was also arrested by Tulum police, but in a separate stop. Municipal authorities say Jesus P was taken into custody from Aldea Tulum after being found in possession of 96 bags of cocaine.

A run through the system notified police that Jesus P had an outstanding warrant for murder. At the time of his arrest, police noted that they were offered 200,000 for his release.
