Tulum, Q.R. — Tulum’s mayor Víctor Mas Tah gave the green light for the paving of several streets in the Guerra de Castas subdivision, which will help improve mobility in that area, he says.
Mas Tah says that the new street will provide an alternative Cobá Norte and Tulum Avenues that have a high flow of traffic. He says 4,500 meters of roadway will be paved with an investment of 3.5 million peso.
He adds that with the paving of the road, it will end the historical lag in that part of the city while at the same time, attend to the accelerated urban growth in terms of infrastructure.
“One of the main issues is to generate more efficient mobility, and with this work, we will interconnect with other avenues, for example, calle 6 Oriente that leads to the Villas Tulum subdivision with Bubul Lek, which will contribute to unloading the intense traffic that we have by becoming an alternate,” he explained.
He commented that a few days ago when doing a tour of the area with the Director of Public Works, Jorge Xiu Manzanero, he made the decision to construct these alternative roads to vent traffic in the area, which he noted, should be complete before the end year.
