Tulum, Q. R. — A man identified as 54-year-old Miguel “M” was killed over the weekend during a robbery. The man, who was a contractor for an ongoing residential project in Tulum, was shot and killed on Avenida Yaxchilán Saturday by a group of three men for the payroll cash he was carrying.
The now-deceased was with another man when the shooting happened. Both men were shot, however, Miguel “M’s” injuries were fatal. The surviving shooting victim told police that they had previously threatened by the same three men before.
Police have not announced the arrests of any suspects in the weekend murder.
