Tulum, Q.R. — The shooting death of a young man was reported around 10:00 p.m. along Centauro Street in Tulum after two male subjects on a motorcycle opened fire. Emergency 911 sent responders to the scene of the shooting where paramedics located a young male laying in the street.
The man died after being hit by three shots in an area nicknamed mini-Quinta of Tulum. According to witnesses, two men on a motorcycle arrived with one getting off and firing shots at the now-deceased before fleeing.
Police cordoned off the area and located four 9-millimeter casings. No arrests were made in the shooting. The deceased, who was pronounced on scene by paramedics, has not been identified.
