Tulum, Q.R. — An investment of 3 million peso will see ecological areas added to the town of Tulum. It’s mayor, Victor Mas Tah, says the town will have more recreational spaces for its residents and visitors with the construction of four Andador Ecológico areas.
He says the work will be complete in two months time and benefit the 30,000 residents that call Tulum home.
He pointed out that the construction of the areas will be made with ecological concrete and include a cycle path, paved walking areas, street lighting, benches, signage, a playground with children’s games and bathrooms.
“We have detected several sites that are the patrimony of the municipality, therefore, we are working in the legal framework and once everything is in order, we will proceed to rescue them with the purpose of being recreational spaces. Therefore, before the end of this year, four facilities of this type will be delivered to the families of Tulum,” he said adding that he is fulfilling his commitment to provide decent public spaces for the residents.
