Tulum, Q.R. — Municipal police were called to the scene of the discovery of a deceased body Friday. A driver who stopped along the highway to urinate found the body hanging from a tree.
Authorities were notified of the discovery around 11:30 a.m. near the entrance to a residential area outside the town of Tulum. Initially a medical unit was requested, however, paramedics arrived only to confirm the man’s death.
The now deceased has not been publicly identified, however, he is reported to have been the ages of 40 and 45 and of foreign nationality. Authorities have not released any public information on the death of the man.
