Tulum, Q.R. — A Tulum construction worker was transferred to hospital with serious injuries after a concrete wall collapsed. On Tuesday, an ambulance was requested for the worker when the concrete bricks landed on him.
Civil Protection inspectors were at the scene of the accident that happened inside the Aldea Zamá complex in Tulum. The worker was on the top floor of an under-construction residential building when one of the walls gave way.
The 9:00 a.m. accident saw the site shut down by inspectors. Three large seals were placed on the site as the workplace investigation continues.
