Tulum, Q.R. — Four people were shot Friday night in the Riviera Tulum subdivision of the town. Emergency 911 sent police to the scene where they found three people already dead.
Paramedics were called to rush a fourth person to hospital. His condition is not known.
The shootings happened around 11:00 p.m. Area residents who heard the numerous gunfire made the report to authorities. Ministerial personnel from the Attorney General’s Office arrived to collect evidence and begin an investigation.
The Forensic Medical Service (Semefo) came to remove the three deceased bodies. Details surrounding the murders are unknown. Tulum officials have not commented publicly on the shootings.
