Cancun, Q.R. — A suspect with an outstanding warrant wanted in the state for four counts of homicide has been captured. José Marcelino “N”, alias “El Marce”, was picked up over the weekend on drug dealing charges.
After being booked, police learned he was on the state’s Most Wanted list and had an outstanding arrest warrant for aggravated homicide. José Marcelino “N” was arrested on 135th Avenue in Supermanzana 336 while driving a pickup truck.
During the inspection, officers found among his belongings small bags containing dried green marijuana-like material and a crystalline substance resembling the drug known as crystal meth.
José Marcelino “N,” along with the evidence seized. Police say after his arrest, it was learned that he had a warrant issued against him that dates back to April 2023. According to authorities, the warrant was “for his alleged involvement in acts possibly constituting the crime of aggravated homicide against four males.”

According to cabinet, field, and technological investigations, José Marcelino “N” is the leader of a criminal group. They say he is also likely connected to the placement of threatening banners in various locations throughout Cancun due to an alleged dispute with the leader of a rival criminal group stemming from the sale of narcotics on Kukulcán Boulevard.
