Tulum, Q.R. — A suspect wanted for a double Tulum murder has been captured in Playa del Carmen. On Tuesday, the State Attorney General’s Office announced the arrest of Victor “D” on an outstanding arrest warrant in the death of a man and woman.
According to information provided by the state agency, Victor “D” was wanted for the double murders that took place on July 13, 2022 along the Costal Highway of Tulum. On that day, the two bodies were discovered dead in a jungle area near a restaurant.
Victor “D” was arrested from Prolongación Benito Juárez Avenue in the Ejidal neighborhood of Playa del Carmen. He has since been admitted to the Municipal Retention Center.
