Othón P. Blanco, Q.R. — An industrial truck driver in the municipality of Othón P. Blanco found himself in a situation Friday after rolling his unit off a road.
The incident happened near the town of Sergio Butrón Casas when the driver, who was operating his dump truck for Maya Train work, miscalculated his shoulder distance.
His industrial dump truck became sucked in the edge of the road’s loose wet gravel that left it overturned in the ditch. The truck was found laying on its passenger side with wheels facing the road.
Construction workers came to the aid of the driver, who was not injured. His unit required two heavy duty tow trucks to winch it back upright and onto the road. Municipal authorities were not involved.
