Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A security guard was killed after being shot twice outside La Selva bar in central Playa del Carmen.
The shooting happened in the neighborhood of Gonzalo Guerrero. Preliminary reports say the security guard was hit twice in the back. Municipal police arrived along with an ambulance. The man was pronounced at the scene.
The identification of the security guard has not been released. There were no arrests, however, police did find shell casings at the scene.
