Othón P. Blanco, Q.R. — Nearly a dozen people were treated for injuries Monday after the pickup they were traveling in rolled off a cliff. Emergency services were at the Nicolás Bravo scene early Monday morning after reports of the single vehicle accident.

At least 10 people were treated after their pickup truck rolled off a highway cliff. The truck was carrying a group of construction workers when the driver lost control and fell several meters to the bottom of a cliff below.

The workers traveling in the bed of the truck were thrown from the vehicle. Rescue crews were at the site of the accident for several hours locating injured people before hoisting the truck back up and onto the highway.

According to the driver, he was attempting to avoid a large hole in the road at the time of the accident.
