Cancun, Q.R. — Police in Cancun have arrested three men they say are connected to the robbery of a city jewelry store. Joan “N”, Omar Iran “N” and Jabib “N” are also being investigated for their connection to another commercial robbery after assaulting officers during a traffic stop.
According to police, Joan “N”, Omar Irán “N”, and Jabib “N” were arrested while riding a motorcycle without license plates. Upon noticing the vehicle, officers stopped them for a preventive inspection at which time the suspects assaulted the officers.
All three were taken into custody and have since been connected to the recent robbery of a jewelry store in SM 59 as well as a second commercial establishment.
After completing the legal proceedings, the vehicle, along with the detainees, were handed over to the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
